The MW project started up in 2010. Before that I played guitar with different rock / pop bands. The MW project is about telling stories wrapped into music and film, mostly very personal stories. Here is one of the very first songs I did as “Michael Winther” : "2-0-1-4". The song is about a recurring nightmare that I had most of my life, dying in a car accident in the year 2014. I decided to write a song about it and film the nightmare as I remembered it from my thoughts. The nightmare seemed so real that I did not think I would survive the year 2014 - but luckily I´m still alive and still making music.
